Parental Leave

• As the major voice in society for the pro-life cause, the diocese offers the following benefits to expecting parents:
• 8-weeks for paid leave for the mother, regardless of type of birth, with 100% of income and no PTO contribution required.
• Paternity leave of 10 days.
• Adoption reimbursement, providing up to $5,000 of fees and expenses with the appropriate documentation.
• This parental leave is supported by short-term disability insurance, and runs concurrent with protections provided by the Family and Medical Leave Act. Benefits and requirements for each is noted in the handbook.
